Reverse-rated Question Grid Rows Return to Versions  Previous Feature  Next Feature
Question grids use a standard set of values as columns (eg. Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree). Usually, all the question rows within the grid relate to these values in the same way (ie. strongly disagree is bad, and strongly agree is good). Sometimes, however, you might like to "mix up" which values are good or bad for some of the question rows, forcing a respondent to read the question more carefully and approach their response with more thought.

Professional Quest allows individual questions within a grid to be flagged as being "reverse-coded" to handle these situations. An example of a grid with a reverse-coded question is shown below:
