Understanding the Sample Surveys

This project was created to evaluate the performance of our fellow co-workers. In this survey we also evaluate our management staff and our personal skills.

 

 

There are two types of data piping available in Professional Quest - Question Data Piping and Respondent Data Piping.

 

The sample Exit Interview survey is an attempt by the company to improve itself by asking the employees that are leaving why they are leaving. This is a multinational company therefore we need to ask the questions in more than one language.

 

	Demographics - Through this survey we will be able to obtain demographics such as the employee’s age, salary range, region, department, and length of service.
	Identify Problem Areas - This survey will allow us to find out the main reasons why people are leaving. We will also be able to identify and hence work on the problem areas of the company.
	Obtain data from people that don’t speak English - This feature will allow you to collect data from respondents anywhere in the world in their own language.

Key Features

 

	Multi Lingual Surveys - The sample Exit Interview survey has been created in both English and Spanish. The Language Manager within Professional Quest allows you to create a survey in other languages quickly and easily.
	Hierarchical Text Lists - Hierarchical text lists can be useful in cases where you have a list that has multiple levels to select.
	Progress Bars - Progress bars inform the respondent how far they are through the survey.

 

The sample Employee Satisfaction survey is used to gauge the good and bad areas of the organisation so that they can be improved upon.

 

	The company will be able to obtain their employee’s age, salary range, how long they have worked for the company and how they feel at work.
	There is a new Call Logging System used only by the Customer Service Department, and through this survey the company will be able to ask those particular employees how they feel about this new system.
	Through this survey the company will be able to know how their employees feel about Management, their remuneration and conditions and their job security.

 

	Multi Lingual Surveys - The Employee Satisfaction Survey has been created in both English and Spanish. The Language Manager within Professional Quest allows you to create a survey in other languages quickly and easily.
	Flow Control - Flow Control is used to restrict the respondent from answering questions based on the particular answers entered by the respondent. In the Employee Satisfaction survey if the respondent is not part of the Customer Service Department then they will not see the questions about the Call Logging System. The survey will skip over these questions.
	HTML Content Tags - HTML Content tags are codes that can be placed within the content of a questionnaire. These codes are replaced with “fragments” of HTML code whenever the HTML version of the questionnaire is generated. An example is the text and picture inserted into the Introduction page of the Employee Satisfaction survey. An HTML Content Tag is used to achieve this.
